Welcome to The Miracle Project
We are a philanthropic club at Seven Lakes High School that serves to bring joy to children with cancer. We hand-make cards and blankets to donate to children at the Texas Children's Hospital.
Anything I need to know?
General Information
Fees
The fee to join is $10 (cash). This money is used to pay for the materials needed to make the cards, socials, and is kept in case of any other events
Time & Location
We meet every other week in room #1212 downstairs on the freshmen side of school.
Things You Need
You don't need anything except a smile and a positive attitude. Everything is provided at the meetings.
What We Offer
We offer volunteer hours for every card that you make. The cards have to be of sufficient quality (they are being given to real children after all). 30 minutes of service hours is awarded to every card that is made
The Higher-Ups
This club is supervised by Mrs. Clench. Our president is Kathleen Yu and our vice president is Param Bajaj

Meet The Officers
Kathleen Yu
President
Hey everyone! I’m Kathleen, and I am a junior this year. I am elated to be your president this year, and I am so excited for all the fun volunteering projects we have planned this year! I love all things arts & crafts, and I am passionate about using my creativity to bring joy to children diagnosed with cancer. I love dancing, painting, and doing digital art in my free time. Some other organizations I am involved in are FBLA, The Fitness Outreach, Mu Alpha Theta.
Mariana De La Garza
Treasurer
Hi guys, my name is Mariana De la Garza and I’m the treasurer of the Miracle Project for 2022-2023! I am super excited for what our club is going to do this year, but some other things to know about me are that I have a passion for speech and debate, as well as helping out in our school’s student council. I’m (unfortunately) a junior now but excited to start all of this year’s extracurriculars!
Punit Kothakonda
Historian
Halo! I’m Punit Kothakonda. I’m the Miracle project Historian for the 2022-2023 school year. I’m 16 and going to be a junior in the upcoming year. In addition to this, I'm involved in the SLHS orchestra officer team (viola gang 4 life), and I'm an adamant chess player even though my rating is pretty low (I play on chess.com: RainBluff770 add me). I’m interested in things to do with photography, cameras, and technology type stuff like building things online.

Hi! My name is Joud (pronounced Jude). I’m the Social Media Manager and I’m super excited to be working on the miracle project. I’m a Junior but I’m ready to start this year … I hope. I love art, reading, and photography. I am part of a few clubs and interested in engineering. I often get random creative ideas that sometimes work so I hope Miracle Project will benefit from my contributions!
Anjali Dixit

Hey!! My name is Anjali Dixit and I’m the Miracle Project’s 2022-23 Secretary! I’m an incoming senior who is ready to go to college and finally get out of high school. I have a passion for medicine and psychology which is what I'm pursuing in college for my career. I’m an officer of other clubs such as Interact, PIHE, Psych club and more! I’m excited to have a lot of fun and to get this year started!
Param Bajaj
Vice President
My name is Param Bajaj and I’m a junior. I am the Miracle Project Vice President for the 2022-2023 school year. I’m really passionate about healthcare so I started this club along with Kathleen, and I’m also an international competitor for the HOSA Chapter we have at SLHS. In my free time, I like to read, play the violin, and hang out with my friends.
